Seeing a therapist does not mean you are “crazy”, weak or flawed.
My clients include everyday, ordinary people struggling with common problems. Most of the people I counsel are simply having difficulties adjusting to their lives. They are dealing with normal life changes such as: loneliness, grief, anger, relationship problems, self-esteem issues, lack of confidence and poor communication skills.
While it is true that some types of therapy are designed for those struggling with serious mental health issues, there are also many other reasons everyday people can benefit from therapy.
My job is to help you to make changes. I might not always agree with you, but my job isn’t to placate you. It’s to challenge you and help you grow. I see therapy as a chance to help you figure out who you are, understand where you’ve been, and decide what you can do now to regain happiness in your life. Take the next step and contact me. You are worthy and deserving.
