Don’t get me wrong. Therapy can be painful at times. Confronting and tackling the issues in your life that are holding you back is not always an easy process.
But at it’s core, therapy is a conversation. A conversation between you and me with a purpose and a goal. One that spans a range of emotions from tears to laughter.
I will talk to you. I will make you think about things in new ways. But most importantly, I will listen to you. Really listen to you.
Along the way, you will cry, you will think, and yes… you will laugh. You will not be afraid of therapy sessions. You will look forward to them. And as you grow, you will be happy you decided to reach out.
