It’s easy to use excuses as reasons for our unhappiness. There could be logical and legitimate examples of why you can’t get your dream job, or leave your unhealthy relationship, of why you can’t be fit, or why you can’t get your degree, or why you can’t afford that home and so forth.
Then again, maybe you’re relying too much on evidence to prove why what you want is unattainable. This “proof” keeps us from trying, keeps us from looking at solutions and keeps us from setting and achieving goals.
Instead, perhaps we need to go beyond what’s reasonable and comfortable and reach out with just a little more faith in ourselves.
